Let’s say there’s this big shiny diamond, like none other in the world, and you want it really bad. The only problem is that it already belongs to someone else. Now let’s say that this person who owns it leaves for a really long time, but he leaves this diamond behind. The diamond is still his, but now its sitting there by itself.
