A message to the rest of the world
I have heard many times that most of the people in the rest of the world dislike Americans and think all (or at least most) Americans are stupid. Not to mention the large group of people in America that share that opinion. While I can see that the general public often appears to lack “common sense” and “common knowledge,” this doesn’t apply to the United States any more than it does to any other part of the world. Call in WHAT day?
Okay, let me get this straight. People actually organized a call in gay day? This is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. So you’re mad at the government because Proposition 8 passed. How is calling in “gay” to work going to help this situation? Unless you work for the government, all you’re doing is taking precious man-hours away from your company and effectively losing them money. So is this really to stand up for gay rights, or is it just an excuse for people to be lazy and not show up for work? Seriously, there are enough people on welfare doing that already. You’d think that since these liberals are the same ones who are constantly bitching about the economy, the thing they’d want to do most is help by working. And you wonder why your coworkers don’t like you.
Why I Choose To Be A Republican
Why do people choose a political party? Some people pick based on their parents’ opinions, either to please them or as some type of rebellion. Well, since I don’t even know exactly where my parents stand on the political spectrum, that can’t be it. Some people choose based on popularity. The GOP is definitely not very popular right now, so that can’t be it either. So why do I choose to align myself with the right wing?
