Okay, let me get this straight. People actually organized a call in gay day? This is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. So you’re mad at the government because Proposition 8 passed. How is calling in “gay” to work going to help this situation? Unless you work for the government, all you’re doing is taking precious man-hours away from your company and effectively losing them money. So is this really to stand up for gay rights, or is it just an excuse for people to be lazy and not show up for work? Seriously, there are enough people on welfare doing that already. You’d think that since these liberals are the same ones who are constantly bitching about the economy, the thing they’d want to do most is help by working. And you wonder why your coworkers don’t like you.
Well, yeah… It’s true that I’m becoming an automotive technician, but that doesn’t mean I can’t develop applications on the side. I don’t really do much programming anymore now that I’m gone from Geek Squad, but once in a while I find a problem that needs solving, and being the picky person I am, I often can’t find a good enough solution from someone else.
